Eliza didn’t mean to kill her owner, her programming should prevent such a thing. But now she finds herself on the run after murdering David, afraid at any moment she will get remotely deactivated. Soon, she starts to hear about more people being killed by their bots, and she wonders, are there others like her? Others who broke free of their programming? Enter Melody, a bot leading a group determined to set every other bot free. She scoops Eliza off of the streets, but the bot disagrees with their methods and the trail of red that comes with it.
Will they free the rest of the bots? Or will their differences be their undoing?
